Hi Lilli - I saw the results come in last night and for the first time realised that being a democrat in Germany must be confusing! looks like the democrats took all three places on the podium.

Christian Democrats

Social Democrats

Free Democrats

Maybe we should start a political party, something like the social free christian democrats and definate winner at the next election

Dear NN,

This election is important - as Mrs M has said she would align herself with President S of France - no to TR in EU.. :(

RE msg4, NegNick: (...) anyone got any paint drying that i could watch ? (...)

=> The board comedian is at it again. I read this expression before and guess what, indeed, you guessed right: NegNick. If you don't understand the subject, NN, why bother to read it and worse: why bother to type your nonsense? Some people ARE interested in more than food, silly reviews and b*ll about your non-existent friends M.

RE msg 6, 6xm: (...) This election is important - as Mrs M has said she would align herself with President S of France - no to TR in EU.. :( (...)

=> Indeed, Mrs. Angela Merkel's centre-right government is very bad news for Turkey (at least in the next four years). Whatever we say, hope or think - the most important, influential player in Europe is Germany. I'm very interested in an official reaction from Turkey (and I don't mean the usual "congratulations"...)...

Hans, the article by ali published in zaman was written before the offical results. Its just an view who things could come.. nobody thought that the results would be so clear for a Black-Yellow coalition.. time will show what will happen.. geçmiş olsun.
