| I used to attend the badminton club at the sports centre in between the wednesday market and kyrenia police station. I belive they are still running and i'm sure you can find details of it somewhere in Cyprus Today. Not sure what days and times they are. SuperTed |

| Superted, do you know if the courts are for hire or do you need to join the club? |

| I can't honestly say. This was a few years ago. But I am fairly certain that the clubs still runs as they were there when I was taking my driving test a couple of months ago. If you want to hire the courts I think its probably best to speak to the sports centre as it is they who rent the courts to the club. This does say to me that it is possible to rent the courts but probably only if you have enough people as I would assume it is a set cost for the whole hall rather than being able to rent one section of it. Also i'm not sure if the nets and poles etc belong to the club or the sports centre. I'm sure if you pop in they can answer your questions better than I. But if you haev any more questions I'll see if I know the answers. Your best bet would probably be to have a look in Cyprus Today to find out the days and times and pop in then so you can speak to both the badminton club and the sports centre in the same go. | The badminton club is still running and meets on monday and thurday mornings 9am to 11am.The sports hall can only be used through a formal and registered organisation which is why we formed a club so as to enjoy the facilities. There are similar clubs for basketball etc. The courts are not for hire to individuals. My contact details are in the CT ad you have already seen. Feel free to call or just come along. regards |
