| I'm afraid to admit that all of headings have appealed at one time or another. As a young man I favoured Motown and Soul, then Hard rock and reggae and later pop, classical and jazz. A rather eclectic taste in music since I have favourites from all of these genres. Among the CD's in my car you can find Beethoven's 9th Symphony ( Karajan and Berlin Philharmonic), Desmond Decker, Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, Terence Trent Derby, Motown Chartbusters Vol 3 and Tchaikowsky's First Piano Concerto ( Klemperer).????????????? or what????????????? |

| Tis true his diction leaves a lot to be desired BUT he was the fellow who "commercialised" Reggae and Ska way back in early 70's when "Israelites" was first aired on the waves by the BBC. Admittedly Radio Caroline may have had a slight edge on the beeb but they were a pirate station after all. |
