This Sunday we are going to Guidos for Sunday lunch as being Scots we always look for a bargain. We believe it is 17 tl for 2 courses and think we heard it was 23 tl for 3 courses. Having been there before we only hope the pate is on the menu as the best we have had in 5 years on the island.

We went to Guido's last night for the first time. I cannot fault it. Lilli was charming and attentive as was Guido - they are a great combination. The meal was absolutely delicious, everything was perfectly cooked and presented. I would not hesitate in recommending Guido's to anyone I meet. I will be booking for Sunday lunch, Christmas day and any other time I get the opportunity. I don't give a hoot about the masses of great publicity Guido's gets on here, they deserve it.

Wish I was there Nurse, I would love to go. Instead I will be in Scotland, where the good news is that the midge population is declining, but the bad news is that snow has been forecast for the hills today. Oh Joy.



Just going to have to cook my own Sunday Roast. Good thing about Scottish Autumn is the home made lentil soup. Still think I would be in the restaurant near to the Golden Lady - DC even you know where that is.

Well DC, you mean all that glitters is not gold!!!! Can't play chess have tried in the past but next time I escape Scotland think there is a Tuesday chess club I might try to infiltrate!!!!
