This post is for people trying to get large dogs to TRNC. I have just arrived back here with my dog from the uk. It was a long winded proccess but it worked without to many hickups. My dog is a German Shepherd and is 36inch high. I tried all the normal routes but with no luck. CTA hight for cargo is 30inch, but was told they do have larger cargo but you must go to there office in uk and find out when they fly. Which im told is not very often. I also spoke to Dave Newton in the uk and he was very helpful.(got his phone number from cyp44 forums). The only way is over land or by flying to Turkey and then across on ferry. I did the latter. I flew to Antalya with Thomson Fly. Then hired large vehicle from Antalya airport and drove to Alanya. Left the hire car at Alanya by arrangement, and got the hydrofoil across to girne. He spent one night in Nicosia quarantine and is now home. If anybody wants more info, please email me and i will give you my phone number. Hope this is of some help..John.

Bringing Huskies to suffer the heat of the Middle East?

By the way: I hope you mean 'crate', not 'grate'!

Please 'mush' off and do some research before you perpetrate this crass act of cruelty.
