I am thinking of bringing my uk reg car over when my villa is finished i know i can only keep it in the TRNC for one year but during that year would it be possible to drive over the border into the Greek side of Cyprus i did read last year somewhere that Greek customs were not letting uk reg cars through .

I have friends who have been taking their UK registered car across to the South at least once a month for the last 3 years (yes I did say 3 years - don't ask it is now on local plates).

One tip, very recently discovered when attempting to import our UK car into NC. If you only intend to have car in NC for 12 months. Do not detach the export slip from your UK car registration document. Simply send a letter to DVLA re car out of UK to avoid fine for no UK road tax.
