Hi. Keep the cling-film roll in the freezer and the film comes off the roll easily ie. does not cling to the roll

but still clings to the things you want it to.

Did you know that there is evidence to suggest that plastic wrap (cling film) is carcinogenic? PVC (polyvinyl chloride) is a significant constituent of clear plastic films, and PVC happens to be one of the most toxic forms of plastic. A type of chemical called plasticisers are added to cling film to make it flexible and transparent. Some of these chemicals have been found to cause cancer in laboratory animals.

So to cut down your exposure to cling film, get in the habit of using reusable plastic tubs. If you need to, then opt for using aluminium foil, which is actually recyclable.

So is smoking a packet of cigarettes and drinking two gallons of beer a day, thinking about it so is breathing air! Cling film is a great aid in the kitchen and a brilliant party trick putting it under the toilet seat for your unsuspecting guests!
