Just a Neg Nick observation....

Oranges grow in abundance here, so why is it that they don't seem able to produce decent tasting orange juice ???

Just opened some Koop Orange 100% pure Gold...

About as convincing as an evening of knock out whist round the Mongers.....

A Neg Nick 2/10...

Buy a sack of oranges and do it yourself. I do not touch any orange juice that is reconstituted from concentrate.

Nick

I have that trouble in most Restaurants as I drink Gin and Fresh Orange, not the old carton stuff, you would be surprised how many say No sorry we dont have fresh orange, and I have to change my drink,

as you say with all the oranges trees that they grow here they should be abundant

Always amazes me

I have to agree, that squeezing your own juice is the best however when there are none around to juice then I buy the Pfanner make of juices, they have a whole variety and to me the better tasting ones on the shop shelves.

I cant agree about blooms it reminds me of squash which you dilute

Just Juice/Delmonte is the next best to fresh orange

Pilgrim,

Its 5 TL per glass. I am a regular there and as soon as I sit down I get my ration automatically.

Oh, are we talking about the same place? I am talking about the place next to Isbankasi or opposite "Medview" office which is mostly closed.

the "squeeze it yourself" replies are not getting the point...

Oranges grow on trees in abundance here - how hard is it to squeeze them and bung them into cartens so they dont taste like a pile of shite.......

Fresh orange juice in a carton would last about 2 days.

That's why any carton juice is treated to be longlife and loses all it's fresh flavour.

Fresh or carton, at least there's an option!

p.s. whatever happened to Sunny Delight that turned kids orange?
