Just been able to get internet access, now for the first time this afternoon. But the strange thing was Skype was working!!!

i've said it many many times - the best Internet in the TRNC is BORTEC (the Cannon Shop opp Burger City in Kangerangaloo).



We've been with them for over 2 years and the service is rarely off, there are no dips in speed and they are always at the end of the phone if you need to speak to someone...



You'd be bonkers to use anyone else....

Nick may consider them later on but paid a year up front with Extend so I am stuck with them until the end of the year.

Im presently with extend and will be giving them the boot when my contract runs out in Nov. Its up and down more times than a whores draws when the fleets in town, shame as when they were on the rise and were customer focused they seemed ok. Just another TRNC company that grew and took its customer base for granted. Hope they rot and feter as Negative Nicks Uncle Percy used to say.

When mine went down, the whole lot went with it including skype, my contract runs out in Feb so we will see next year

=> When Skype "works" you HAVE access to the Internet. When you can't download web pages you have no access to the World Wide Web (short: http://www.etc). Or: hypertext transfer protocol://worldwideweb.etc . This is not necessarily an Extend fault/error.

Does your mail program (not webmail!) act normally?
