There are quite a few English speaking Dr's in the TRNC who I am sure would oblige and translate for you. This actually would be the best way especially as you do not seem to know what is in the report.

I asked one of the specialists and they scribbled a short translation on paper - i need this done properly for court documentation in the UK - thought there would be some business that does this professionally.

Forget Noters you need to find a medical translator that can translate all of the medical terms. Try http://www.turkishenglish.com/en/medical_translation.html

Yeah i tried with turkish/english to look and they are certainly baffled from the terminology. Cheers im sure ill get there in the end!

I am sure there are officially recognized translators available in London. The translator may have to appear in court to verify the accuracy or answer questions about the possibility of other meanings for some expressions. It is not a straight forward job. The court registrar in UK should be able to help you.

Going to a Noter must be the joke of the day.

You dont know my solicitor it takes a big effort to get a reply in English let alone instruct a translator!

Just one more point: I do know that many changes took place in UK with regard to evidence law in the last 30 years but you must check with your solicitor in UK to find out if the doctor's report in Turkish plus a translation into English will be submissible in court. We are 50 myears behing in Cyprus and you cannot submit a report by a doctor unless the doctor himself is there to submit it. So you better check this point before considering the next step.

Yes if this is a personal injuries case then they would want to see the person who did the interpretation and you can bet your very bottom dollar the other side will want to get their interpretation as well.



If the case is being delt with here in the UK then you need to have the docs translated by a UK court approved medical translation service I would recomend

You can translate your own report by downloading Google Translate, I have been using it for some time now and find it easy to use. Give it a try.

Cammy is correct just download google translate, then scan the paperwork, copy it and paste on google translate.
