Can someone tell me the going rate for a 3 bedroom apartment clean after someone moves out and it might need a bit of a tidy.

The last time i was over i was told half clean £15 and full clean £30, has this changed much.

Ive Been charged £50.

I believe at £50 you are getting a bargain I have seen some of the states that friends villas and apartments have been left in after being rented out for 2 weeks!

it seemingly wasnt spotless but it wasnt filthy either.

To me that sounds a couple of hours cleaning. In the UK £50 would be approx 9 - 10 hrs work.

Message 3.

You have got to be joking we left the UK in 2004 and we were paying the going rate then of £8 per hour for a cleaner.

but then it all boils down to how clean you want the place!

We must have been paying well over the odds for cleaners in our wee bit of Scotland even in 2004! As you say was it a half clean. Suppose it depends on your standards OR message 1 you have been really lucky with your guests.

Must be England £8, most cleaners would get the minimum wage and £8 5 years ago is unbelievable.

Cleaners here now charging 90TL a day. When I arrived in 2002 it was less than 20TL a day. That's inflation here for you & no I don't have a cleaner. I can't afford 90TL or more a week.

90TL a day is far more than the minimum wage here & people that pay that must be mad.

The more you pay, then the more they will charge. It's just the same with bars & restaurants.

Jock1 if you promise to wear your pinnie I am sure you will get employment as a cleaner. (thats only if you are better at cleaning than you are at pool)

Jock, make sure you wear pants under your kilt. You never know what's lurking when you bend over to Hoover in an awkward area. )

Do you lot know how hard it is. Electric costs if there is electricity water if you have it. I think they deserve every penny. Now to clean windoes patios etc takes a good day. The dust here is unbeleivable . To wash sheets towells etc takes nealy a day let alone iron those and spares. Most visitors use every single thing. Its cheap x

In the UK £50 would be 9-10 hr work are you a comedian by trade?

To get a builders clean on a void cost's me £50 per property and yes some to take a day and other half a day for a "BUILDERS" clean for social housing re-lets

so a proper clean for a villa to re-let to holiday makers I think £50 is cheap

Get a life,

if you need a cleaner

dont want to do it yourself or

can not for many reasons, then

£50.00 is cheap.

Cleaning in this heat and ironing is not an easy task.
