| Hi Trevor Never seen any around and judging by the height of some of the pavements in Girne I don't think you'd have much luck climbing them with a scooter, and I certainly wouldn't trust driving one on the roads! Karen |

| There is a hire company in Lapta who will deliver throughout North Cyprus. They have a range of mobility scooters, power chairs, wheelchairs etc. We hired a motorised wheelchair last week for my mother-in-law and were able to get around Nicosia without any problems (well obviously no pavements to speak of and precious little in the way of ramps but we managed). Minimum hire period is 3 days. The company is called Enable Holiday Mobility - http://enableholidaymobility.com/index.html, telephone 0542 872 5198. The guy's name is Tom and he is very helpful. Jo |
