New school carriculum in Scotland!

Glasgow District Council's new school carriculum includes sex education for children as young as 4 years. They will start with the parts of the human body then by S6 they will have covered everything including Sexually Transmitted diseases , H.I.V and AIDS.

Whatever happened to the old values like teaching kids to read, write and learn their 2x table when they first start school.

I trust this is just Glasgow, and not the rest of Scotland!? I am very pleased with the way my grandchildren

have been taught reading, writing and arithmatic, in North Ayrshire.

Phylray,

The way I read it is that it will be anyone in the Greater Glasgow area. So Ayrshire won't come under that! I am sure that quite a few parents will be up in arms over this. Especially coming on the heels of the 13 year old boy who has just become a father! for the first time!!!
