Being fairly new to this site I was just wondering why items for sale are still listed from as far back as Feb 07,

seems pointless!. Why are they not removed?. The site people seem to be on top of everything else, but not this!, Why?

It serves a purpose for reference purposes. Also some of those things may still be for sale.

Thats why I always post saying this item is now sold, if everyone did that then maybe only maybe they can be deleted, but who is going to check for this

Should be a limit before items get erased. Let's have a good old spring clean and maybe the internet will go faster??????

it can be confusing when someone posts on an old for sale and you think it's a newer post. maybe they should be at least closed after a specific amount of time so posts can't be added. if item is genuinly still for sale seller could re-post a new topic and we will all know where we are.
