We now have Ray, Des, Tony, Guido, Jock1 and Mark



We need 6 - 8 performers



A squire, a foreman, a bagman and a fool (should be interesting)! so a team of 12 plus a couple of reserves should do it, we need more names before arranging our first meet to discuss how on earth we are going to put it all together.



So wifey's badger your husband and get him involved (theres more to life than football and rugby)! The beer will always be flowing with the Ottoman Morris

Bells, Rolling pins, Red&White Hankies and Daggers, Ottoman (Baggy) Trousers, Fluffy Blouse, Traditional Waistcoat, Fez, Ottoman Shoes (Bendy Pointers, long beards (optional)



8 Dancers,

2 reservists

1 Jester/Fool to hand out sweets or fertility cake or even a kebab on a stick!

1 Bagman to organise the tours and plan events and collect money for our chosen charity

1 foreman to oversee the above

1 first aider (see nurseawfull)

1 thirst aider ( looking for a sponsor ) Hic!



We will combine traditional Morris Men dance routines with Ottoman music and maybe some traditional Cotswold tunes. It will be hilarious and the exercise will do us good.

Now that we have some serious interest in the Ottoman Morris Dancers I will speak to Lilli and arrange a date for our first meeting, those that have not signed up but still have an interest come to the meeting, I will post as soon as time, date is in place.
