Hint:

You simply cannot get here in the north or in the south shelled packets of seeds which are very healthy and I used to eat lots in the UK. İf you are moving out do bring them with you or offer to sell to the local craft markets.

at lemar branches, go to the petfood section

they sell 500gm packs of large unsalted grey sunflower seeds in shells

think it was about 75p equivalent, there is a picture of a parrot on the front



these are exactly the same as the seeds on sale in my turkish shop in uk

which are £1.79 for the same quantity

tried the lemar seeds and they are not adulterated or tainted in any way



my partner has to nibble her way through large volumes of seeds

when she is watching tv...



not suggesting you make cottage pie out of catfood

but you should really try these lemar seeds

if you are brave, please tell me how you get on

You have misunderstood my advice. One cannot get ' shelled' meaning seeds in a packet already taken out of their shells for cooking purposes or putting in muesli etc.

seeds in shell can be fresher in my experience

and for some cooking purposes you can toast them just a little

of course you asked about shelled seeds!

has nobody seen these in the south at carrefour or whatever?

maybe there are health stores in leflkosa/nicosia

has anyone found such a thing?
