What do you guys think of this then?? I found it by accident.

Go to E-bay and type in Item number 230387189648 (not sure if links are allowed or how I post them)

Let me know what you think.....Interesting isn't it? Not sure how legal it would be.

Oh and before someone moans about it not being about Cyprus, it could be if this chap/chapess ever buys in TRNC or ROC even!!!

With only 15 posts behind you I have to question your credibility in trying to further information by another link. What is it that you wish to say?

I wonder if you could leave 'his will' in 'your will' ?? (ref A J's post)

That way you wouldn't even need to outlive him..Would you?

Sorry Richard, am not a fantastic computer whizz myself either. Just go to the e-bay site and type the item number in the seach bar. The item I mentioned should come up. If not here is the gist....

It's a listing on e-bay to become sole beneficiary of a persons will, i,e you are bidding to purchase the right to inherit the sellers worldly possessions once he departs this world (that's just my interpretation of the listing)

I for one would not bid, bit I thought it was an interesting concept though. Nothing really to do with Cyprus but thought it may interest someone...

John Msg 10

I do not know how to get into eBay, however, from what you've roughly described and the response from AJ, It seems to be a scam to me. You can bet on my life and when dead (if I decide to be), I really think I'm not going to worry unless it comes up red!!!!

Thanks Zerochlor.

Yes Richard, not sure about a 'scam' I always like to give people the benefit of the doubt.

Wouldn't bid on it anyway but I'm sure someone probably will.

Oh and if you're pondering why /how I came across it, I was looking at DIY wills.... another thread for another time maybe...

Seems like a good bet to me. I'm going to bid just before the deadline. Who knows this may be some 'weirdo' millionaire!

Spoke to a couple of people at work today about it and they agree with Richard & NN...

All they have to do is make a new will and that makes the one you are bidding on null & void as all new wills supercede the previous ones. This was the general concensus anyway..

Oh well maybe I will buy another property in TRNC that way I will definitely be safe in my retirement.....
