i'm sure read on here somewhere that someone was willing to move into your house and look after pets etc while you are away? I am somewhat sceptical about that but would consider the right person. We are going away next March for two weeks but we have 7 cats to feed!!

We're in the same position but with only 1 cat! Maybe we could arrange to help each other if a group of people got together to feed the cats while any of us are away.

We had considered putting our cat in the cattery but as he's an ex stray who's adopted us he's quite a free spirit although we have had him neutured and we think it might be cruel to confine him for maybe up to 4 weeks. He lives ouitside most of the time and would just need feeding.

I would love to help with people's pets if I am in TRNC. Have 4 dogs, 3 cats, fish and a pony here in UK (family pets). Daughter lives at home and looks after them with her boyfriend and sister when we are away. We are in TRNC for up to 2 months at a time. Oct 24th until Dec 13, then 11th Jan until 3rd March. I am a retired teacher. Have an apartment behind Pia Bella. Am not looking for payment, just to be able to help. Do not have a car at the momet, but an considering buying one in January. If I can help in anyway, please let me know.

Hi stockiefan, I don't think I could help you in March anyway, as I am back in England from March 3rd until early April. However, it might be a good idea to get together a database of people who are available to help at different times. I have thought of offering to help Lilli with her strays, but am not living there permanently, so would love a way to help with animals as I cannot take one on as I am dividing my time between TRNC and UK.
