Hi Izzet,

I may write blogs about

- the education system as I have been teaching mid-school maths here for 8 years, and have an M.A. on curriculum development and know Turkish, British and North Cypriot education systems, and/or,

- the restaurants here as I currently am running http://www.yemeksepeti.com, an internet-based food ordering system with about 40 restaurants, and/or,

- the Turkish Cypriot culture, pros and cons of living in NC, etc., as I myself if half-TC, etc.

If you're interested, I may write a sample on one of the above mentioned topics of your choice and send it over. If you like it, I'll write more.

Izzet: What type of bloggs are you looking for?

Presumably you want to extend your topics rather than more of the same.

Your pay isn't as much as I get from the likes of Gulf Air or the Express - but what the hell among friends!!

Are blogs critical of KKTC allowed? I am NOT saying they should be allowed - I just feel that the sensitive issue os censorship should be fully clarified/spelt out.

I think Wyn if he has the time or Keith cally could write a gr8 warning blog abot the difficulties that can be encountered when trying to buy a property to retire to or as a holiday home



Ismet might with the aid of his wife write about things that are wrong with the system and what can be done to change it

Not an unusual situation. Years ago I did a series of six full length features for a magazine called Auto Enthusiast that was published by a guy called Ruben Archer and after waiting for ages for payment resorted to legal action at which the guy claimed he thought that I had traveled the length and breadth of the UK for him because I wanted to see my name in print and that payment wasn't required. On the other hand in reality I don't think that a tenner is worth falling out about.
