Each time I visit, I hate leaving.

Not much to report - how do you get out of not having friends come with you again? Oh and I like spending quality time together - many friends ask to come with us, we have to say yes, always thinking they'll come once and that's it...

Last lot of friends I thought not v impressed with TRNC as they usually cruise every year - get back to UK and within 2 days they phone saying they have found really cheap flights over in April (Monarch £127 return) and do we mind if they come with us again - what can you say?

See in the papers they are tallking again about tackling the rubbish problem.

Not nice the oil slick at Bogaz - took me & friend 4 hours to clean feet - perfume worked best - aferwards told we should have used butter or eucalyptus oil (where do you buy that??)

Two nice places to eat - Cappuchino (spelling?) at Famagusta -excellent. Cyprus House opposite Post Office for a real taste of TRNC hospitality.

Weather was brill.

alanka. Yes that is all they do "talk about tackling the rubbish". Do you charge your friends for staying if not suggest they pay you they could change their minds, cheaper to stay with you than go on a cruise.

No, don't charge them - they have been good friends (as in can be relied on to help out in an emergency for many years). I just thought they would come once, be bored, and never want to come again - I love it there but they seem to have such 'exciting' holidays.

Having spoken to them since, seems they have fallen in love with the pace of things there anyway - they are going on a 6 week cruise in Jan, and want to come over in April?????

I think they realised u can have a nice relaxing time without having to dress up and show off, maybe...... I don't know but they are certainly not the type of people to take advantage of a 'cheap holiday' (and we've had our share of those :( )
