Watched Rangers get through to the UEFA cup final

No idea how they did it, they were played off the park yet again and go through on penalties seems to be the story of the season with them. CIS final and the Scottish cup semi went that way also. Final in Manchester throws up an interesting clash with Zenit St Peterburg and ex Rangers boss Dick Advocatt hopefully that game is a bit more watchable as Rangers try to pick up 4 major trophies this year.

I think they will get 3 of them but my money is on Queen of the South to thrash them in Scottish cup final!!!!!!!! Heres hoping

It must be the cold north east winds up here that makes me that way and the fact that both Dundee's teams are mince doesn't help either. As for being Wacky, yeah your probably right!!!

Thanks, didn't realise there was a problem however I see you and I and TC got zapped off the Jashan thread for what I thought was light hearted banter.

Better not say anymore in case I get removed again

Cheers

Good display by Rangers last night holding out against what was virtually a 120 min onslaught.Difficult time coming up for them now....8 games in 20 days

Although I don't support Rangers I have to admit its some achievement considering the quality of the other teams in the competition and that has to be good for football up here, in fact with an all English CL final its good for the whole country.

Yep.. to be honest I did not think I said anything that was offensive, in fact I know Riaz very well and would never do that to him but I'm sure he saw the humour in it even if others didn't.

Having said that he hasn't offered me a free meal yet!!!!!!

TC started getting a bit deep analysing the written word again and its perception to others and advised you and i that any jesting should be done only if we pre- warn everyone that we are just joking?????

Anyway I told him that was the funniest thing I'd ever heard.... then zap we were exterminated!!!!

We are in Alsancak on the other side of the road from the Denizkizi hotel, a short crawl from the Grumpy grouse bar. Bought the villa 2 years ago and have been out to it over a dozen times in that period. Just a pity about the lack of flights from here though

Yep... Globespan do a scheduled Edinburgh to Paphos April -October, however its just the usual charters which cost a fortune to Larnaca through the summer which is a bit of a pain.

It would be good to put a face to a name and look forward to seeing you sometime

Regards

Jim.
