Sunderland Beat Liverpool due to ball striking a beach ball thrown on the Pitch by Liverfool fans and being deflected off the ball into the net but they did still have 85 odd mins left and then a futher 7 were added

I think this proves they are a 2 man team as Gerrarde and Torres were both out injured

The major by to replace Xabi is still as he was bought INJURED!!!!

ive been listening to the phone in on talk sport , every liverpool fan who rang in wants the fat spanish waiter sacked, hes no one to score a goal if torres or gerrard are out and hes sold crouch and bellamy to name but a few!. they gave him a new contract for five years only months ago and according to some of those fans they wont be able to sack due him due to their horrendous financial woes.

its great being a man utd fan in it x x

On current form it is being wondered if they will make the Europa league and with the finances being as they are they will struggle

as its 30 million if you make the group stages of the european champions league

and i think you only just make that if you win the Europa league

just seen the goal on match of the day,the balloon should have been popped by one of the defenders,it was in the 6 yard box for a while, even the keeper could have done it! only got themselves to blame for this i think,it could be an expensive balloon!the balloon had a liverpool emblem on it and was thrown out on the field by one of their own fans!!aint it great!

I spoted it earlier and it had been put in the back of the goal so they had not got the brains to pull the plug out

and it seems the wind blew it back on to the pitch it was not a balloon but a beach ball so I am not sure if it could have been busted even by a staddied boot but they have plugs that can be pulled out

I saw on MOD they blanked out the Liverfool supporting Muppet who threw it.

It just shows beyond doubt Raffa is not a great judge of a player and has paid god knows for very very average players

with the debts they have It is doubtful if they can afford to sack him (5yr contract with 4 to run)

and very bad planning by the family who owned Liverfool as they should have built a new stadium when they were winning everything in the 80ies but no I suspect they pocketed a good chunk of that income

I think this will be the closes season for a long time. You only have to lose one game and you are back in 7th place. Villa did everyone a favour by beatin Chelsea. Thats 2 top teams beaten bring on Man U and Arsenal. If you look at the table Villa have conceded the least amount of goals dont count them out at the end of the season.

I think Man Utd will be champions again this season even without Ronaldo.

Chelsea started off as they did last season looking like world beaters.....but have been beaten in the last 2 games by Wigan and Villa.

Arsenal are a great side to watch and can beat anyone on there day but for me there squad is too small to win the league.

Both these teams are going to lose key players in january to the African Nations cup which is not going to help them

For me Liverpool have already blown it,City could break into the top for and can only see Villa finishing in 6th place.....but long term i would like to see O'neill at Old Trafford when Fergie retires
