| I am coming out to NC for 28 days next week and would like to buy a PayAsYouGo SIM Card. Where can i get one? How much do they cost? Can the same people also unlock mobiles?

| pop in the Turkcell shop, they will sort you out, one of the girls in the shop in Girne' speaks very good english, really helpful |

| Try Lemar they sell sim cards 20TL but I dont know if they can unlock phones |

| Be aware that Turkcell have cut the number of units you get,in other words a swingeing increase !! 20tl top up used to get you 400 kontors (units),NOW IT GETS YOU 333.33 units.
That's a hell of a price increase.... |

| Lemar sell the sim cards but will not ulock the phone, when going into town past the court on the right follow past bus station to small roundabout. Keep to the right and you wil see a large TV screen in front of you, follow the road (To left of screen) and turn seawards (Any of the right hand turns will take you to the phone sales shops). They will unlock your phone |

| what sort of phone have you got, mine didnt need unlocking, its a new Samsung, tri band, bought in the UK for £35, same phone in Lemar approx £100 !!!!!!! took it to the Turkcell shop and she put my Turkcell sim card in out of my old phone, twiddled it a bit, said tamam (ok) and bobs my uncle, it worked and best of all, no charge x |

| Turkcell pay as you go sim cards now cost 20 turkish lira with 100 credits free inside the card.
its now 6 turkish lira for 100 credits |
