I am still on the traditional chemical type pool, but got a bit of a suprise when I went to cost chlorine and acid recently. does anyone know of a reasonably priced supplier in the TRNC and approx what they are currently charging?

Mackom,
Can you please post the 'surprise' prices to inform all.
reason for prices going up will be the Euro rate, most (in fact all) are imported from Eurozone countries.
Best I have found in Offsetsan
From Ky to Nic, turn right at the 'water conservation' roundabout with all the fountains as you get to the end of the autobahn (as if going to Kermia)
Stay on this road until you see Cangar BMW dealer, don't overshoot as it's a long way till you can turn round.
Just before Cangar is Offsetsan.
Don't have the prices here with me,but someone will post and you can call them and compare. Please post for other once done.

They don't stock cyanuric acid though for some reason.

Cheers for that Brian, Golden Sun quoted 50 pounds sterling for 18 kilos of chlorine. I will definately try Offsetsan. If I hear of any reasonable prices anywahere will post them.

Offsetsan are much less than that, they only stock 90%Cl

went to offsetsan today, better prices than Golden Sun.
Paid 55 euros for 25 kilos of 90% chlorine.
15.5 euros for 25 kilos of Sodium Bisulphate ( ph minus)
16% kdv has to be added to that but still very reasonable.

Hi Makom, Seems like you boys from the North know to save a few bob, are yer savin up for some decent players for next season, a bit of dry acid might get the front line movin.
