So whats new you can shoot all the year round in the T.R.N.C. 5 days a week it's a sport, as in U.K.

I think not, it's heavily controlled. Where, when, who can, in a very short Season.

It's rare for me to agree with Brinsley, but I, too, was under the impression that hunting was very tightly controlled and had a very short 'season'.

I stand to be corrected.

You are bang out of order and if you were in range you'd be a Bazooka fatality.

Warning keep out of the mountains & the countryside on Sundays from now on. You risk being shoot at even driving a car on a main road.

Matula, thats a bit of a sweeping statement isnt it? My husband is an avid hunter, and whilst I definately am not a fan as an animal lover and vegetarian, my husband most certainly is not a 'local nutter' and he would no more abandon his 2 beloved dogs at the end of the season than he would chop off his own arm. I know that we might not agree with the hunting season, but this is part and parcel of living amongst the TCs so have a bit of respect wont you.

Sorry Tinkie, I personally have not one iota of respect for those who shoot innocent birds for so called fun.

I understand that not everyone agrees with the shooting season, I dont like it at all in fact, but at the end of the day we have all made the decision to live here, and like it or not hunting is a huge part of life here. Respecting people and their culture is part of the desicion we make to live outside of our motherland, so before you make a sweeping statement about people being nutters for doing something that it is a huge part of who they are and what they have been brought up with perhaps we should think about that.

Lots of packs of mad dogs around Karakum if anyone wants to come down and shoot some, children are not safe out at the moment because of them, its a very frightening experience.
