Seriously, this vid is about the effect of WWII ..and you can see how it still effects them 60+ years later.. they lost so many more folk than we did..



Her name is Kseniya Simonova and I think we'll see her on our TV, soon

Absolutely incredible performance.



It's about the WW2 tragedy.

The male voice of a famous Soviet radio announcer Levitan is a second radio Moscow's announcement when Nazi Germany attacked the Soviet Union on June 22, 1941 (the first one was made by Molotov, the one who signed the Molotov-Ribbentrop pact). He (Levitan) had very unique voice that was/is instantly recognisable by the any Russian.



Then goes the Dark Night song of Mark Bernes and another one of the same famous singer, Ballad about the Cranes...What a nostalgic song...the melody really makes you cry.
