I see there is a 2 page spread promoting N/C in the travel section of todays Sun. It certainly gives it a huge thumbs up with the writer signing off by saying it won't be long before they go back and can a place ever be any better No doubt CTA will now increase their fares by 20% !!!!! http://www.thesun.co.uk/travel Jim.

Great to see some publicity. But with one story in Cyprus Today claiming KTHY are bankrupt, it could cause a few problems if they cease trading, and they can do it at a drop of a hat. You only have to look at EOS Airlines who shut up shop without a thought or care and their competitor, Silverjet, is trying to refinance itself. These are times to think about who will survive as the oil price rises and rises.

We've spent a weeks holiday about three year's ago in Akyaka at the Ottoman Residence and it was a very nice hotel and Akyaka was also very nice, we had a pleasant time, nice restaurants, quiet and relaxing, mainly with Turkish holidaymakers at the resort. Whilst we were there a Turkish TV soap opera came to the hotel to film a holiday scene and they asked me to be an extra in a breakfast scene with the star family having their breakfast. I got my wife and so we appeared in a Turkish soap opera which we never saw except for the camera playback. Ukturk, don't ask me what the program was called, apparently it was about a large family who lived in either Ankara or Istanbul. In the town at the same time was a seperate camera crew filming for another, I think holiday program Loby.

Hi, There was also a two page spread in the Daily Express, which was very favorable,it also showed a picture of Kyrenia saying it was still unspoilt by the 21st century.
