With Turkey's economy expected to grow at 3.5 percent next year the Turkish Lira might remain relatively strong and the £ may not get much above 2.50.

I would expect the rate to rise when they eventually agree to the IMF loan.

Re message 11, if that is an accurate prediction for the Turkish growth rate. Then i would expect Turkey to tell the IMF to shove their loan.

'I would expect the rate to rise when they eventually agree to the IMF loan.'

I would have phrased it 'if they agree to the IMF loan' because as I see it the Turkish Finance minister reckons that Turkey's economy is strong enough to not need any financial assistance from the IMF.
