Today the two leaders are to discuss the property issue, this seems to be a big sticking point with neither side willing to budge, could today be the day the talks are finally accepted as finished or will they be able to pull something out of the hat.

Having lots of issues to agree on is like having a door with lots of locks. If you come to a lock which you don't have a key for, is there any point in continuing with the others with a view to coming back to the keyless lock at a later date? Get the tough issues resolved first and leave the easy ones 'till last.

What is the state of play now that some Greek Cypriots are to be given the deeds to the homes they have lived in since 1974, surely that will make the issue even more contentious.

Kalimera Christofias - Since the Orams house in Girne has been ordered to be demolished, Turks have every right to present RoC with the ultimatum that if they don't demolish Larnaca Airport and the Moni power station in Limassol, it will be done for them, or perhaps RoC would prefer to exchange them for all claimed GC land in TRNC - then see what UN/EU/ECHR think about that!
