Whilst on a stag weekend a few years ago in prague we went for a drink, and to our surprise, they had midgets dressed in velcro, and you had to throw them against a soft velcrowed wall, whoever got a midget the highest up the wall, won a prize. Do they have such a place here for this sport, and would you go, i lot of people thought it was hillarious, including the midgets..I never laughed once..

cyprusjoker - well, all I can is that those who laughed must have been very "small"minded.

I'm 4ft 11 inches tall and don't find that funny, why should the vertically challenged be laughed at.

Tell me about it, the staff who worked for me called me short a**e, but boy did they pay for that.

Actually I would have been 5ft 4inches but I had five brothers who loved to pat me on the head when they came home from work.

Message 5 - Carol - my mum was 5ft and half an inch. She used to get very cross if you said she was only 5ft! She also said (she had a saying for just about everything) that "good things come in little packages". She may have been small in stature, but that's where it ended!!!

I saw this too, they were doing it in Australia about 10 years ago. I dont think that the vertically challenged people were protesting much though, its not as though they had been kidnapped and bound up in velcro, they were happily wearing velcro suits, being picked up and thrown at velcro walls. Each to their own and all that....

This 'sport'/'game' would work wonders here but by only using Advocates as the participants! Huge audiences and cheers guaranteed!

Well I hope this thread doesn't get out of hand, like lots of other threads have in the past. After all, the last thing we want is people with 'short tempers'

hattikins .. Message 8 .. " there is no half inch button on my keyboard"

Hold down the Alt key to the left of the space bar & using the numbers at the right hand side 171 ..

You should get ½ .. Alt 172 .. ¼ Alt 0190 .. ¾ another good one is the degree symbol Alt 167 .. º .. ºC

If it doesn't work try again with the numbers lock on ..

Dwarf Throwing, used be popular in Italy.

Throwers would compete to see who could throw a Dwarf the furthest.

It was banned about 20 years ago.

The little people made a big fuss as the do,gooders forced them into unemployment.

"Vertically Challenged" is the correct term that should be used, i have been on a management awareness course.
