Cumbria and Northumbria used to be part of Scotland as a Scot i am going to the European court to get all these English assylum seekers removed and their homes and properties demolished with the land returned to its rightfull owners.

Be WARNED by aquiring property in Northumbria or Cumbria you are committing a CRIMINAL ACT !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

There's no way Merit Hotels would have built this hotel at great expense in the knowledge that someone would come along and take it from them.

The Hotel is here to stay.

Long live everyone in the North.

Hiya Bill it was built for the casino and has already changed hands 3 times. Sad but true. We get so exicted when we see and hear forward investment but it sems tohave a different meaning here. I do not know who owns it now

Liz - good point. I have read quite a lot about this development over the last few months. Would be interesting to find out who the latest "owner" is.

Meanwhile, people, don't hold your breath.
