Hi all, from rainy windswept U.K. My wife and I are making a first time visit to TRNC, coming over 7th Nov. for two weeks, staying at Pia Bella with the idea of looking to rent accommadation Jan-Apr 2010. Would love to meet up with expats at local cafe/bar daytime or evening for info on life in NC. Is there a particular local that any of you use, not neccessarily near Pia Bella?(days & times please). Hope you can help.Really looking forward to our visit and (hopefully!) better weather!!! Cheers.

Or if you fancy a trip up to Alsancak Guido's restaurant is a good place to meet the locals. Or JK's or the Hut in Lapta.

Have a lunch at the Cafe de Paris you will meet people there and also at the Shiraz on the square as you get into the town itself, about 20 minutes walk into the centre, if you want transport back try to get the Ozankoy dolmus near the law courts, just 2tl.
