Hi All. Just thought you'd like to know that your part of the world made it into today's 'Sunday Telegraph' in the weather section as follows: (as of LAST Sunday), the hottest place IN EUROPE was Morphou, with temps. of 37.2C (99F). Phew! It was around 30C when we were out there 2 weeks ago. Hope you've all been coping with the extremes so late in the season and that water/electricity supplies haven't been affected? Relief of sorts is on its way though, again according to forecasters.

Swannee

We have rain forecast for most of the coming week here in NC. The nights are cooling off for sure now but can't complain with the lovely warm days we are having. Not looking forward to Jan and Feb here, in my opinion the worst months. I would love to hibernate with my electric blanket for most of that period.

Msg 8. What has that got to do with the weather? will it make a difference to it if Turkey joins the EU.
