Just arrived on the island for three weeks and have started with high priority item.... where is the cheapest place to buy cans of Efes. Only been to one supermarket so far and it works out at £1 per can which I think is expensive. Any help to a thirsty traveller is much appreciated.

Only the Efes in Cans, the small stubby bottles, no problem, must admit tho, more of a Carlsberg fan.

Fasel is much nicer and cheaper, if you can find it in stock.

I think Efes abuse their near monopoly in the TRNC regarding pricing, far too expensive.

Message 5, I find if I drink 2 bottles of Efes, followed by 2 bottles of red wine, and a couple of large local brandys to finish off with I also get a bad headache.

Joking apart I think Efes is far superior to Carlsberg, and Tuborg etc,
