We will be taking ownership of an apartment in village of Tersefanou neat Larnaca. I am looking for advice re how i go about setting up direct debits to pay electricity, water and community charges. Can you tell me where i go, if there is a charge and also any other charges i may acrue. I will also be looking to let the apartment which is a fully furnished one bedroom apartment in a complex that includes allocated private parking, communal swimming pool, gym and sauna. Could anyone advise what i would be expecting in euros for a long term let. Hope to hear soon Thanks Paul and Sandra

If you were going to have a house in the TRNC I guess you'd be able to get lots of pertinent advice from this sites members... As the banks in the North probably don't do standing orders and direct debits for debts in the south it might be difficult.

Hi Paul With all due respect this forum is for people who have an interest or own property in the TRNC. The currency here is the Turkish Lire (tl). You would be better to search the web for a forum that is for owners of property in the South of Cyprus. I guess you'd have a much better chance of renting and finding further information to meet your requirement's there. Please don't take offence as none is intended. Just trying to be helpful.
