Hope no-one minds, but I know NN used to do this. So, for (possibly) one night only, here they are:

Joe's in

Ollie's in

Lucy's in

Jamie's in

Stacey (Oh My God!!!!!!!!!!!!!) is in

Danyl's in

And the last place goes to:

John and Edward - yes, you heard it first here, the Irish talentless ones are through.

So, the 'sing off' is between:

Lloyd and Rachel

Rachel (who, by the way, now looks like a darker skinned version of Danni Minogue) is singing very well.

Next up - Lloyd. Cheryl (Lollipop head - dressed in something hideous) loves him. He's singing "You are so beautiful to me". (I used to like that song). Apparently, he has a sore throat. To be honest, I feel a bit sorry for the kid.

Rachel and Lloyd now hugging - ahhhhhhhhh. Voting is coming as I type (it's like Reuters). Danni is speaking -blah, blah, etc. Louis is doing the same. Dannie and Louis have voted for Rachel, Cheryl has voted for Lloyd. It all rests on Simon. Simon has (last minute) pushed the deciding vote to the public. This is it!! (Hope you're not all wetting yourselves . Yes - the deciding vote is that Lloyd has gone through - he received more of the public vote. Poor Rachel is out. Sacrilege (spelling?) - but, then Jedward are still in!

Christ, I',m worn out - it's not easy wearing the mantle of NN re: X-Factor.

Paul - do keep up dear

To be honest, I only watch X Factor on a Sunday. I am (for my sins) an avid "Strictly" fan on Saturdays.

Don't tell anyone please

Blackpool fan - have you ever heard the term "tongue in cheek"? If not, YOU should get out more.

In the meantime, I hope "Opportunity Knocks" for you. And I mean that sincerely, folks.

I do apologise if I expressed what you read as 'concern' for you. It certainly was not intended, as I am sure you are big enough and ugly enough to 'concern' yourself.

And I am very pleased that "opportunities" are presenting themselves. Hopefully, soon, punctuality will present itself, too.

Sienna - message 8. Don't tell me about Ola!! Paul sits there with his tongue hanging out! I keep thinking that one week she'll be (almost) dressed. Well, I, for one, think she's a hussey!!! Prancing around the dance floor, looking like a bag of spanners. I am NOT jealous at all. What about bloody Craig being kept in? Who do you fancy for the winner? I think Jade is great but Ricky Whittle looks good?

This will really annoy people, but, it is the end of the weekend

Love

Message 10

Take AJ's advice and book that holiday might i respectfully suggest respite in a nursing home be more appropriate for one obviously devoid of humour. Alas sarcasm is the lowest form of wit as you know, " As i am sure you are old enough to know better" Enjoy your evening ..,,;;;;''''....

Message 13.

Thank you for respectfully suggesting a nursing home. However, I can assure you that, fortunately, I am in no need of a nursing home, as yet. But I do thank you for your concern. I can also assure you that I am not devoid of humour. With regard to message 9 - forget it. Sarcasm is certainly the lowest form of wit, as you quite rightly point out.

Do, please, watch your quote "" "" marks, as they are all over the place, as is your spelling and (lack of) punctuation. I may be old (as you kindly pointed out) but I have obviiously had a better education than you have had.

Thanks, Jeannie for the original post. I for one was actually pleased for the information and grateful for the posting. Am missing my Sunday evening's little bit of excitement.

Hattikins, I'm backing the new person relaying the X factor results, it's either backing her or a whack round the ear for me
