Reminder that THE BIG FIGHT is on this saturday night/sunday moring...at THE OLD MILL!



Unfortunatly there is no definite time as to when the fight will start, but programme starts at 11, depending on how many fights are before hand, and how long they last!!!!



Bacon and sausage butties will be available.



Prior to that, and every saturday evening, we will be showing the X FACTOR!!!!! 10pm every saturday and sunday for results!!!

Would imagine that they now have names in place but this was the only card I could find on the net, maybe they will ask for volunteers from the audience which would remind me of the boxing booths at the German fairgrounds many years back.

The fight is also being shown at the Paradise in Catalkoy.

Prediction....Haye will outclass Valuev but will be crowded out and leant on throughout the fight, resulting in the judges deciding. Haye will be way ahead on most British pundits cards but as the fight is in Germany, Valuev will retain his title by virtue of a draw.

Worth a small wager as the draw is 33-1 with a lot of bookies.

Definately not a draw. Haye is going to have him, but he'll have to stay out of the way and use his speed coz like Robnjo says, he is a little on the large side.



Anyway I'll be up the the Old Mill cheering on a local lad for a change.



Come on Haye bring the belt home son!!!!!!!!!

I can't believe that all the major bookies are making Haye the favourite at 4/7 with Valuev at 5/4 and a draw at 33/1.

The weigh in is at 3pm(English time)

the weight when last fought was haye 15st 4 ,valueve 23st3 lb

The odds on Haye are an absolute disgrace and only a lunatic would take the 4-7 on offer. Though we all want him to win, just look at the negatives.

1. Only 2 or 3 pro fights at heavyweight (not sure how many).

2. Giving away stones in weight and what looks like 3 feet in height.

3. The fight is abroad and anywhere outside the UK you have to knock them out to get a draw.

4. The champion has never been knocked down, or stopped.



As said before, the 33-1 about a draw seems good value to me even though this is improbable, but just think a layout of £15 will return over £500.

David Haye will be conceding six stones when he challenges world heavyweight champion Nikolai Valuev.

The Londoner tipped the scales at a career-heavy 16st 6lbs at Friday's weigh-in at the Mercado Shopping Centre in Nuremberg.He was of course, dwarfed by the seven-foot champion Valuev, who came in lighter than usual, but still weighed a whopping 22st 7lbs.



Haye has only had 1 fight at heavyweight and in fairness he went abroad to win his Cruiserweight titles but in my opinion he is in serious trouble against this man Valuev.

Heard that Haye is taking a step ladder in the ring so he can reach his chin. Hope it's not one manufactured here as he'll likely be too busy worrying about it collapsing underneath him to be able to land a knockout blow
