Hi all,

I have had occasion to ask for the services "free" of the boards "legal eagle" Ismet aka Elko2.

I gave him chapter and verse (which would have bored most Cyprus 44 members) I am sure it did him!

His knowledge of TRNC law, kindness, understanding are beyond parallel. I could not have asked for more!

I have offered a good lunch, but I suspect the value of advise was worth more.

If you have a problem of getting a clean Kochan, when you have paid your just desserts, this is your man!

His advise is invaluable. I cannot say more as the subject matter is banned from Cyprus 44, at the constructors request.

Ismet....A big thankyou! Looking after the good guys!

Strange that. I thought this was an information board for residents , or proposed residents of The TRNC!!

Wyn,

Thanks for your kind comments. Its always a pleasure for me to advise the best I can but I find it necesarry to remind people that I am an Engineer and not a lawyer. However when people try to compliment me and say that I am almost as good as a lawyer I get upset because I consider myself better than most

I will be glad to accept the lunch you offered me but it will have to be in your house with the kochan hanging in a frame on the wall!!

Actually I am saddened to think of so many people suffering so much stress because of unscrupulous developers and builders strying to squeeze the maximum they can from honest and decent people who only want what it says in their agreement.

My daughter and son in law bought from Boyut and now it is 12 months overdue. They could really finish it in two months if they wanted to but everything is at a standstill. so I decided to sue them for late delivery and I bought them a much nicer villa yesterday. The only difference from others is that I enjoy a good battle in court. I think I know all the tricks in the book.

I must take this opportunity to thank Vaughan for putting me in touch with such a nice person and we struck a deal very quickly and signed the contract within a couple of days. We hope to celebrate the New Year in their new Villa.
