Previously we have had someone from Lefkosia to service the boiler but it has been difficult to organise because of distance and language problems. Does anyone know of an engineer based near the north coast?

Is your boiler Baymak? If so there is 1 turkish guy who did mine last year but Ive lost his telephone number but trying to find it and if I do will post it up. Prior to him used Bulent in shop in Girne 0542 8835309. By the way my boiler is firing up and Ive bled rads but they are not getting hot and then boiler switches off after 5 minutes. Yes i have diesel and water pressure correct level.

Lostfound, check to see if the pump is working, if not the boiler will cut off after a very short time. The easiest way is to remove the large screw in the front centre of the pump, put a cloth under as there will be a small amount of water there, if you then put a flat blade screwdriver into the pump you should be able to locate the pump shaft and this should rotate freely.
