I am confused.Unless you delve deep into the archives, you only seem to read about how bad Turkey are in the negotiations regarding the cyprus talks.This must mean that a big percentage of the world population only read and here the gc propaganda about 74 etc,and so believe it.How can this be right.I like to call the happenings of 74 as the "Turkish intervention" and not the Turkish invasion as most of the press seem to liken it to.Afer all is was am i right in thinking a Greek coup that caused the Turks to intervene.

Its about time that more and more people where made aware of the true goings on over the years and stories of things from the past are reprted on more accurateley and fairly.Otherwise chidren anthere childrens,children will grow up believing the the same old propaganda.Time to move on,

Grey.

Well Grey, don't wait for the TC to do anything about it, they are too apathetic. That has been part of their problem all along I'm afraid. Just the way they are.

Perception = people's reality.

Politics is often about 'sound bites' and 'being on message'.

The ROC had a huge advantage over the TRNC in that they got their propaganda machine operating well before the TC woke up to what was happening the GC narrative became the dominant version of what took place.

Yes, the more you look in to it the more you realise that the 'problem' did not start in 1974. There were awful actions taken by all sides but the GC being the majority were always able to use the 'law' which they drafted to keep the TC 'in check'.

I guess many people don't even know that TC had to have permits to travel between villages and jobs in the government were often ear-marked for GC! All that happened long before 1974 as did the troubles in the late 1950's and early 1960's.

Time has moved on but I regret many of the people have the same attitude as they did 30, 40 or even 50 years ago!

Will things change? Your guess is as good as mine )

Moover,

Things will only change if things are reported without the GC blinkers on,

Grey.

Talat is a red suffering from xenophobia who wishes to get into bed with Moscow, the Queens husband is a Greek hence the reluctance of the UK Parliament to open it's eyes up to reality, Ankara too worried about the consequences of annexing, so what chance for TRNC!

If Talat is wanting to get into bed with Moscow then it would be three in a bed as Chritofias will already be in there keeping it warm,

Paul.
