Watched Show TV news last night and there has been a few deaths in Turkey from ths virus mentioned, I am concerned that the expat community are not receiving adequate advice, if we have to wait for the midweek and weekend issues of Cyprus Today for info we might miss out on vaccinations, I heard that the results taken from pupils at two Girne schools have come back from Ankara as positive and the Schools closed, when will our children get their vaccinations? How many children are actually in education and qualify/registered for the jab?

Who will administar the vaccine? Do we need to already be registered with a doctor?

Will it be an announcement on the inaudible PA systems located throughout the island?

Is it children, the elderly first?

Will it be cure before prevention? - the "we will do it tomorrow" syndrome

I think Tamiflu is available at the chemists which is supposed to help those least vulnerable after contracting the virus and not preventative medicine as the vaccine is which has to be injected.

It always worrying when you live in a country with no governance and a lawless society, you can never anticipate what will happen or not happen as the case may be. I don't blame you taking your child out of School as clearly prevention is better than cure, having said that are the Schools in Girne open? I have never seen so many 5 - 11 year olds walking the streets at 10 in the morning.

I saw some children walking to school yesterday wearing masks on their faces.
