34 degrees here during the day, bit cooler in the evenings, but still warm enough to wear shorts/T shirt. (sort of TRNC in early July).



Sea warm enough to swim in, beaches clean and tidy.



No litter, No mass dumping of builder's shite..



Proper infracture, good roads.



Locals friendly, courtious and proud of their country.



Deeds transferred the same day on property transactions.



Montlhy leccy bill £30, with air con blaring several hours a day. Water £8 per month..



No heating bills cos it's NEVER cold.



Food cheap as chips - how's about a king prawn stir fry for £1 ? decent Beer £1



Petrol 50p a litre - 4mb internet £20 per month.



Tesco supermarkets the size football pitches selling everything you could possibly want at low low prices.



Clothing so cheap it's hardly worth washing it.



Huge choice of fabulous eatieries.



Sensational entertainmet (that fat bird from up the curry house wouldn't last 5 minutes)...





Do miss moaning though ;0)

There electric might be cheap that's because it run about 6 ft over head, when i was there a cable broke dropped down and killed 6 motor bike taxi drivers, man from leccy board turned up and just put the wire back up and everyone carried on like nothing happened, mind you plenty of taxis lol life is cheap there

When I had my business in the UK, we actually had a relly good Award certificate. It was called the prick of the week award,

It was a proper certifiacate with a dick in a coat of arms, whoever got it that week used to have to display it on the notice board

It actually got to be quite a sort after award,

May be the forum should have a similar symbol, and the mods. could decide who to award it to each week,

Thailand is no different to any other country. I have 2 friends that were ripped of big time in Thailand and have been reduced to working back in the UK as refuse collectors. They lost everything and have had to start all over again.

We have been in the Jontiem region of Thailand for 8 days now and each day has been hot and sunny (as i said earlier, like TRNC early July) - yesterday afternoon it rained for about 2 hours, but 30mins later there was not a trace - that is the first rain we have seen.



If you've got so much time on your hands that you have to check up on the weather in a country 4,000 miles away from where you live, you have got too much time on your hands old boy....



May i suggest you put this time to better use, namely:



a) Getting a bird - preferably a good looking one.

b) Chasing your lawyer for your deeds.

c) Getting your arse up the local council and ask them to sort out the litter and mass dumping of builder's waste.

d) Thinking how you are going to heat your villa over the forthcoming 5 months.





If you have got any spare time after this, may i suggest voluntry work up KAR
