Both brilliant fighters in thier day but Ali was a master at not getting hit thats why is won so many fights, Tyson in his prime would have chased him around the ring and done his usual beating up of Ali so for me Ali had the finesse but Tyson's power would have taken it for me

George Foreman was a very similar fighter to Tyson, if old Ali could beat George, than Prime Ali would kill Tyson. I love Tyson, he just wouldn't be fast enough to catch Ali, and even if he did Ali took a punch very well. Tyson would be difficult for Ali in their first meeting, but I imagine, if you gave them three fights, Ali would win two of them.

Tyson made other boxers look nobodys, as for tyson being a simular boxer to george foreman, tyson had twice the speed, and used his lack of height for getting under his opponent and releasing those lethal uppercuts that could lift other boxers of the canvas.. One fight away from rocky marcianos record aswell when he lost a pathetic fight to buster douglas. i really believe that tyson was the best ever, as for the big fight tonight, tyson would have beaten the pair of them one after the other in his hey day, the heavyweight division really lacks that special fighter/boxer today, lets hope david haye will change that, he'll have to beat the ukraine brothers aswell thou..

Different fighters from different eras so very hard to call.I would like to think though that the artist (Ali) would outpoint the (thug) Tyson, Paul.

Clay's corner cheated in that Cooper fight. They tore his glove to give him more time to recover from 'enry's 'ammer. I think Cooper would've knocked him out next round. If Cooper could put him over I'm sure Tyson could

Ali for me..he had the knack to beat guys who everyone said would beat him. I'm old enough to remember him being an annoying fxxxxx..time mellows legends. Best being another one who was a prat in his playing days in many ways.

Reply Message 15 of 18 in Discussion I hate boxing it is Barbaric. Why the hell would you deliberately want to punch somebody's head and cause then physical damage??? I tend to sympathise with that stance even though hypocritically I still enjoy the very top boxing mathces but less nowadays as it has become contrived and more like wrestling in the way that the whole thing is set up to make money..must be the caveman element coming though I guess!
