Same things happened to me at the HSBC atm machine, ring your help line in the UK at once they are on call 24/7 so that they can cancel you card, I know its a nightmare but you dont want anyone else getting their hands on it,

so sorry as you will have to end up getting someone to bring one over for you, because of the post

good luck

dont forget to take your passport with you when you go to try and get it back, hopefully they wont just give it anyone without some proof as to who you are

It took my husband two and a half hours to get his card back, even with a driving licence, passport etc. They even rang Nationwide in UK and wanted them to email all our details to HSBC in Girne! If he had stolen the card I doubt very much he would have gone in to the bank to try to get it back, let alone spend all that time in there arguing his case, total nightmare from an incompetent bank.
