First visit to North Cyprus for my 40th Wedding anniversary

Hi, I am visiting North Cyprus for my 40th wedding anniversary in September 2008, staying at the Hotel Sempati, could anyone recommend a good restaurant that is reasonably priced. We visit Turkey regularly so we are used to the food. Looking for a good venue around Lapta area.

you could not have picked a beter place to spend your anniversary aswell you visiting turkey (where do you visit there) the two best places in the med well i would say that!!!! lol

i would say the best resturant to spend your anniversary night would be ezic they have been going for around 17 years and have built a reputation which is second to none food and service and their new place which is called ezic premire located in upper kyrenia centre belive you me you wont be disapointed

Hi Mysteron,

Congratulations on your 40th anniversary, we clocked ours up last September,( you only get twenty years for murder ) and we celebrated our special day at The Address in Karaglanoglu. Lovely meal, beautiful setting, couldn,t fault it, another nice place is Silver Springs, the old Shirley Valentines not far from Hotel Sempati. Wherever you choose to go, enjoy !!!!!!

We have always enjoyed Haci Ali and Tervetuloah. Never had a bad meal yet.

I guess it depends on what you want and how much you want to spend!



The Veranda in Karaoglanoglu is lovely. Food is beautiful, it's right on the sea in a converted Cypriot house...really nice.



However, for very special occasions, I love the Bellapais Gardens up in Bellapais. It's a little way from Hotel Sempati I admit, but set in the hills in the shadow of that lovely Abbey, with the most amazing views it really is an experience.

Thanks to all person who replied - looks like it will be Bellapais Gardens - no problems to get there plenty of taxis. Will need to book when I arrive on the 11th September.

ukturk, thanks for your answer, In answer to your question where have we been in Turkey - started with Dalyan, Kusadasi (Loved Ephesus), Olu Deniz, Icmeler, Alanya and a few more. Really enjoyed the different places we visited.
