Hopefully thats got your attention. And 20 other voulunteers ,I am privelaged to be associated with these angels.As my kids used to say LISTEN UP. 6 UK registered nurses, giving up their time for no reward, except the reward of helping others, Once a Nusre always a Nurse,TRNC healthcare thats what these ladies and other helpers are about,I am going to be telling you a lot more about this dedicated group over the next few days. How they are here to help you, and everyone else in the TRNC. But we need your help desperately. We need donations to this voluntary group ASAP. My mobile is 0533 843 6539, please contact me with any offers of help, Also from the East side of Girne, any Registered Nurses, Voulunteer drivers etc. If you feel you can offer help or assistance please contact me, Things they need urgently are Phone Credit, maybe a couple of local Sim cards, funding towards fuel etc. I will be posting over the next few days with more Info. Please help, it could be you next who needs It

Many thanks for all your help, can we put credit straight onto the new mobile of Chris (Nurseawful) phone, is that the same number which she put on the posting.

We were all at Guido's on Friday for the meeting and I put my name down for any help that is needed, Chris has my number and if you start a Donation box please let us know where the boxes are being held

This a group organised by Nurse Awful. They are prepared to offer help and assistance to all aspects of health care here .( somthing that we take for granted in the UK). Can you imagine having a problem here and being able to pick up the phone and get help, HOW GOOD IS THAT, You are in hospital and you need care, etc. etc. the list is endless. Unless you are in a good financial position . It,s not gonna happen. But if we can help Nurse Awful and the rest of the team then we are in with a chance, It is not just expats it is for anyone here who neds help.But imagine you are volunteer driver and you need to do a couple of runs to Lefkosa Hospital from Lapta, You can,t be expected to finance the fuel ( that,s a bit beyond the call of duty) This is just one example, phone calls , equipment etc. PLEASE HELP. I am going to be a thorn in your side over this, Because I believe in it, I talk from experience, Good health is taken for granted UNTIL ITS TAKEN AWAY.

Meant to say, while we were having our Suday lunch, or a lie in , where was Nurse Awful ? she was on hospital duty, says it all really .

Ok that is good point, last night my wife came up with areally good on NURSE AID. but we must not confuse this with what the volunteer group actually is ie. TRNC Healthcare



If this name is Ok with Chris, (Nurse awful and the rest of the team) then lets have a vote on using this for fundraising.

I would like to offer to help, but not sure what I can do, as I have a big problem with my back and cannot walk far or stand for more than a couple of minutes, so while I could drive someone, once I reached the place, would be no help to them. I'd need an extra person to help me!!

Keep us all posted on the fundraiser and for now will just send some phone credits. Lilli are you puting up another collecting tin on the counter?
