GC debate with expert on Cyprus history on NCFP

There is very interesting debate on NCFP between David Carter and Greek Cypriot G. Prokolis. GP insults DC throughout the debate and infers that DC doesn’t know what he’s talking about. In the end DC puts him straight:

“For your information, however, I add that a Greek professor of history in Athens has highly praised my forthcoming book, which assesses the British connection to Cyprus from 1878 to the present day (2009).

Amongst other things, he says it’s ‘a readable, plausible and honest account of the complex history of the Cyprus question.’

He continues, ‘The author has conducted intensive research, mined rich sources of information and listened to many voices, and, with his sharp eye for detail and fluent prose, he reveals the complex personalities of the central characters in this ongoing drama and explains their motives.”
