Is it only the backspace key?????

If you open "Control Panel" and then "Keyboard" you can set both :-

a) the delay time before a key starts repeating

b) the speed at which the keys repeat

Change these and it might trigger a response

Finally, if you block (i.e. highlight a string of characters with the mouse) the characters you want to delete then pressing 'delete' or 'backspace' once will delete them all.

Hope this helps!

Hi CarrieRBag,

If you can't use backspace,

highlight what you want to delete,

by putting cursor where you want to start to delete,

hold down left click button, on your mouse,

and drag it over all that you want to delete,

once you've highlighted what you want to delete,

press space bar,

more accurate than backspace button

If that doesn't work, I've got some Tipp-Ex

Good luck,

Navek
