Hi, I have a question. I hope someone could answer me as this is important for me.

My Chinese friend will come to South part by Larnaca Airport. She wants to visit north part also. I am in the north part. Can she pass from south to north? Does she need visa for TRNC? Can she stay in the hotel in TRNC and ten fly back from Larnaca?

Thanks for your answer.

I cannot see any problems given that her passport is in order.

My wife is Chinese. She obtains a ROC visa, we enter via Larnaca and then have absolutely no problem crossing into the North & back into the South at the end of our visits - which have been for up to a month. So no need to worry!

Yes, Offshore is correct. My wife too is Chinese, and we now enter through Larnaca, after she obtains a Cyprus visa. There has never been any problem entering TRNC after staying two days in Larnaca, which we must do to obtain her permission from ROC.

We have also entered from Istanbul, again after obtaining a Turkish visa before arrival. But in that case, she is not permitted to enter the ROC from TRNC.
