| In my yard this morning, on the paving slabs, i noticed what appeared to be snow...white fluffy powder, and quite a lot of it! Does anyone know what it might be, i was thinking maybe a fungi thats just appeared over night...i'm worried in case it is poisonous...i have dogs out there...any advice? I have swept it up, but is still a residue...

| Are the paving slabs relatively new? If so then it will be the salt leaching out of the mixture they use to make the paving slabs.

| They are about 2 years old...it felt too soft to be salt....

| some sort of "salt fungi" - I dont know the correct name.. out from the concrete.. make some photos and post them so we can see to decide... moisture in the soil and the salt residues in the concrete react to a kind of fungi.. |

| I get this on the concrete floor of my garage. It don't seem to have harmed any animals, as far as I'm aware. I just sweep it up when it appears. |

| its called effloresence or similar i believe,but you shouldnt have that after 2 yrs.Its a reaction with cement that can happen when youve had a period of wet weather! |
